WordPress 2.9 Release Candidate 1 Available for Download

Today developers at WordPress released the new version of WordPress 2.9 Release Candidate 1 for tech savvy testers to upgrade their blog to newer version and test the functionality and compatibility of the plugins and themes they are using.it’s also necessary for plugin authors to update their wordpress to 2.9 and test their plugins for compatibility with 2.9 and update their “Tested up to:” in the plugins readme.txt file.WordPress 2.9 will be available on official wordpress download page before the end of the week.
