What is a Portable App?To understand Portable App first of all we will have to understand what is called app?App is a short form of Application.So, now we have to understand what is Portable Application?Before know it we will have to know what is Application?In my openion an Application is a program which is installed on different operating systems for different purposes, such as we run Photoshop on windows for image editing and for the same purpose Gimp is used on Linux.Now these applications have to be installed if we want them to use, where as Portable Applications are those applications which can be directly used from Pendrives or any other Storage media, without installing them on Systems.
