Hold on, have you just got the names of 10 file hosting sites that you think are good ?
If you are going to call it ‘Top 10′ you need to justify why. For each, you need to give a reason why you have allocated it that place. Otherwise, it’s not so much a top ten, as a list of 10 file hosting sites.
I don’t know if this really is a top 10 list but I do agree with Mediafire, Rapidshare, Megaupload and 4shared. Mostly, I use Mediafire because the free version does not make you wait ages before you can download the next file. With MediaFire, you can download simultaneously, so with the upload. Although there are a few restrictions, I think Mediafire is best for me. Rapidshare, Megaupload and 4shared all have a waiting time before you can download or upload the next file, if you have a free account. The others in the list, I haven’t tried yet though.
I’ve used many file hosting sites, so far Megaupload works for me because it can upload/download bigger files. The only downside is if you are using the freeware, there tends to be a waiting time and sometimes it gives a bandwidth error and it only allows one download or upload at a time. I use 4shared for smaller files like mp3s. I’ll try the others that you have recommended, there’s bound to be the best among the best.
True. I also use Megaupload for my file hosting needs but the freeware does tend to be hassling rather than helping. I also have friends in some countries that say that Megaupload is banned because of copyright issues and plain censorship. All in all, your list is quite comprehensive. Thanks! Maybe, I can finally find something that will replace Megaupload.
What about DropBox? I find it very useful than most of the file hosting sites that I have used. It lets you open your files anywhere, and you can store it in your computer AND online. What more, it has a public folder which does need to be shared.
Most users use Mediafire, Rapidshare and Megaupload. I hope you can make a separate review for each so we know how to use it or what is more convenient. I know there are a lot of file hosting sites available and it will add confusion to users. Thank you for coming up with the top 10 list.
I am using Rapidshare before and It did work great. I am now using DropBox since my boss required us to do so. Nonetheless, I am thankful to him that I got to know this wonderful tool. It is very easy and simple to use. Thumbs up to your site! More list to come please.
I wonder why 4share is at top 10. If I were to place 4shared, I would place it after Rapidshare! Also I love using DropBox. I think it’s one of the most secure file hosting sites.
Good post mate but unfortunately i am missing Megaupload anyways i am not so worried about it because i guess i found my answer that is new file hosting website which is rocking www . bevyshare . com
