Pdfsam basic is a simple tool designed to split and merge pdf files. It’s very simple, stable and completely free. It should cover most of your needs. With it’s simple and intuitive interface you can split your pdf documents (into chapters, single pages, etc.) and merge many pdf documents or subsections of them.

PDFsam is an easy to use tool to merge and split pdf documents. Console and GUI versions are available. The GUI is written in Java Swing and it provides functions to select files and set options. It’s made over the iText library.

Pdfsam is a free and open source software to split and merge PDF documents. It has two versions: Pdfsam basic and Pdfsam enhanced
