New Update for Mac OS

by David Graham on June 17, 2010

Apple is working on multiple fields at the moment and just when we thought that Apple has forgot all about Mac OS, a new update has been released. Current update is 639MB big and it will update your Mac OS to the version 10.6.4.

According to the release notes, this update will feature new Safari 5 as well as many other updates that will bring improved stability, compatibility and security of your Mac. Several things should be fixed such as issue that causes your keyboard or trackpad to become unresponsive, problem that prevents some Adobe Creative Suite 3 applications from opening and problems with address issues while copying, renaming, or deleting files on SMB file servers. This update should improve reliability of VPN connections and it should fix the playback issue in DVD Player when using Good Quality deinterlacing. In addition, this update should resolve photo editing issue with iPhoto or Aperture in full screen view and it should improve compatibility with some braille displays. We should also see a better compatibility with third party USB web cameras and better RAW image compatibility for additional cameras.

Of course, before updating make sure that you create a backup of your current system or simply wait for a few days so you can find out more about this update.
