Microsoft will give 90 000 Windows 7 Phones to its employees
As one of the leading companies when it comes to computers, Microsoft is really working hard to promote its devices. As you know, Microsoft isn’t working only on operating systems and software anymore and we have already seen several interesting devices from Microsoft so far. We all know how popular Xbox 360 is but this time it’s not about Microsoft’s gaming console it’s about Microsoft’s phone. For more than twenty years there has been a huge competition between two leading computer manufactures: Apple and Microsoft. Both manufactures have provided us with great computer such as PC and Mac, but besides computers, both of these companies have developed their own operating systems and software for their computers. That way we got MacOS and Windows operating systems. However, the competition didn’t end with computers because Apple has released one of the best smartphones on the market – iPhone. iPhone has gained enormous popularity and thanks to its great design and innovative operating system iOS it has become the leading phone on the market. Of course, Microsoft wasn’t pleased with that so it started working on its own phone in order to compete with iPhone.

Of course, we’re not talking about the infamous Microsoft Kin, we’re talking about a brand new phone that comes from Microsoft and that phone is Windows 7 Phone. We don’t know what this new phone will offer but we know that Microsoft will give one of these devices to each of his employees. This means that Microsoft will give about 90 000 phones to all its employees all over the world. Person that announced this is Andy Lees, leader of Microsoft’s mobile business, in an email to employees. Question is why will Microsoft give 90 000 phones to its employees? Is it some way of saying “Thank you” or is Microsoft just trying to prevent its employees from using other phones such as iPhone and BlackBerry?
