Maintenance Mode WordPress Plugin Review

If you plan to upgrade your wordpress installation or test some new theme or plugin then it’s must to show a downtime notice to your visitors if you want to do the same then maintenance mode wordpress plugin is used to adds a splash page to your blog that lets visitors know your blog is down for maintenance. Logged in administrators get full access to the blog including the front-end.

Visitors will see a message like “Maintenance Mode – SITE is currently undergoing scheduled maintenance. Please try back in 60 minutes. Sorry for the inconvenience.”

When the maintenance mode is activated, the following message is being displayed:

• Decompress the .zip archive and upload the files into your plugins folder (located at /wp-content/plugins/) or into a sub folder of the plugins folder.
• Activate the plugin from your WordPress admin panel.
