Intel is Working on Smart Kiosk

Intel is leading technology developer that is famous because of its amazing processors. Speaking of processors, Intel is the inventor of x86 processors that were used in most computers in the 90’s. Besides processors, Intel is developing motherboard chipsets, integrated circuits, network interface controllers, flash memories and graphics chips. Interesting thing is that Intel also developed SRAM and DRAM memory chips that were used in the 90’s.

As you can see because of its products Intel had and it still has a huge part in the computer industry. It seems that is quite interested in smart devices and therefore Intel is working hard on a new smart kiosk.

This smart kiosk is intended for retails and it should make your life and shopping a lot easier although it looks quite futuristic. According to the developers, this smart kiosk will bring the best things from online shopping to retail stores such as recommendations, shopping history and easy checkout. This smart kiosk should work great because you just need to slide your card or your purchase through it and you will get all available ways of payment on the screen.

Interesting this is that there will be payment via cellphone available as well, that will make things a lot simpler and easier. In addition, while you are scanning your items at this kiosk it will give your certain recommendations what else could you buy and it will show you the snapshot of that item on screen. As for the hardware specifications, this smart kiosk form Intel is power by Intel Core 2 Due processor and it is using solid state drive that helps the system to work faster and consume less energy.
