India’s Native eBook Reader Launched

You already know Amazon Kindle and Apple iPad but one big news Pi from Infibeam is India’s native eBook reader.Pi has over 1 lakh titles on infibeam ebook store which are ready for download and you can start reading in seconds.The Pi is 10mm thin and have weight of 180 gms.

Device is equipped with 6 inch E-link display which is readable in direct sunlight and capable of displaying 8-levels of grey colours.Unlike other Ebook readers, the Pi supports Hindi, Sanskrit and most other native languages of India.It supports most the ebook formats – PDF, EPUB, HTML, TXT, MOBI, DOC and image formats – JPG, BMP, PNG.It has 512 MB of internal memory which can store around 500 eBooks and can be extended upto 4 GB through a SD card which can store upto 3,000 eBooks.

It supports games like Sudoku and feature music library and can play songs in MP3 format.
