Gmail Voice Call Service Records 1Million Calls in 24 Hours
Google’s new Gmail voice calling feature recorded more than 1 million calls in the first 24 hours of its launch. The news was announced by the Internet giant Google itself.
“Over 1,000,000 calls placed from Gmail in just 24 hours, Thanks to everyone using this new feature.” Google wrote on its Twitter account. On Wednesday, Google announced that it will make Google Voice available to its users via its Gmail service, offering users a new option to chat for free within the Gmail interface.

Users can click on a contact in their Google address book, then select call phone option from the left side navigation bar to make a call.The company is rolling out the service slowly this week for U.S. customers. Google plan to launch localized version of voice call in the near future.
