Fraudulent Emails Asking Your PayPal Login Details
PayPal the largest and best online payment solution and it’s being used by millions of peoples worldwide.Today I got a mail in my Spam folder and the email’s sender name was PayPal, but sender’s email was not from paypal.com domain name so it’s true that it’s a fraudulent email and the email was asking to logging to my PayPal account by clicking on a URL in the email, the text which was linked was same as login URL of original PayPal site but the URL linked to that text was http://206.225.19.16/www.paypal.com/ Below is the Screenshot of fake email I got asking PayPal login details.
As I visited the URL in the email I found that there is a page similar to PayPal and a login page.If some one enters their login details on these type of fraud URLs their PayPal account login will be stolen as these frauds install key stroke loggers in the login field of the fake page so as the person enters his or her PayPal login details the login details get logged in a file and after some time these frauds can login to the account and can do anything they want.Below is the screen shot of the page which is similar to PayPal.
I also entered there a fake login details email I entered was abc@abc.com and password zasgd and after I clicked on login button it was asking for adding credit card see the screen shot below.
So guys please do not put your login details in such type of fraud URLs this may lead to be a big harm.
