Facebook The Most Visited Site in USA on Christmas

When you search for most visited site in the world or US you probably expect to see Google on the top but on the occasion of Christmas Facebook became the most visited website  in the US. According to Hitwise it was first time facebook became the most visited site in US on Christmas everyone wants to connect with their friends and family which caused facebook to reach on the most visited website in US. Facebook was the  top search term in the year 2009 and facebook has 350 million users having that much of traffic facbook is dominating the web which is never done by any service before.But google still dominates the web with 6.7 percent of US visits between January and November 2009 facebook was on top only on Christmas Day.

Number of users on facebook are still growing day by day very rapidly so chances are very high that a day may come when facebook will dominate the world wide web.
