Aug 5, 2010 by

There are many computer manufacturers all over the world but one stands out with its amazing quality and interesting products. Of course, we’re talking about the famous Apple and its amazing devices. As you know, Apple is famous for its devices such as iPods, iPhones and iPads but long before them Apple invented one of the first computers on the market, the famous Mac. As you know, the first Mac was released in 1984 and over the years it has achieved huge success due to its innovative design and features. Over the years, Apple has perfected it, but it has also introduced several innovations. As we all know, Apple is famous for its innovations and now the latest innovation from Apple is here so let’s check out what it has to offer.

After the first multitouch mouse from Apple we got something new that might replace mouse in future. This device is called Magic Trackpad and all that you need to do in order to use is to connect it to your Mac via Bluetooth. The most interesting thing about Magic Trackpad is that you use hand gestures in order to perform certain actions. For example, you just need to move your finger over the trackpad to move your mouse and tap anyone on a trackpad to perform a click. As for the right click it works on the similar way but to perform it you need to tap bottom left or bottom right corner. In addition, Magic Trackpad from Apple supports two-finger gestures that are used for scrolling, rotating and zooming. As for the three-finger gestures you can perform dragging or sliding with them but there are four-finger gestures available as well that are used for swiping up and down and for quick switch between applications.

As you can see, Apple did an amazing job with Magic Trackpad but will the Magic Trackpad replace standard mouse? Although it’s revolutionary and interesting it still lacks the speed and accuracy that you have with a standard mouse, so it won’t replace it, not yet at least.
